Desiree Charbonnet is a practicing attorney licensed in Louisiana since 1996. Her primary focus is seeking justice for those injured in accidents resulting from the negligence of others. She is also a zealous advocate for victims of clergy abuse. Prior to joining the Charbonnet Law Firm, she served as a Judge of the Municipal Court for the City of New Orleans for 10 years. As Chief Judge, she held a special interest in cases involving Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking. She was nationally recognized for her work in those fields. Ms. Charbonnet’s philosophy is that building close bonds with her clients not only enhances her representation of them but creates lasting friendships in the future. She maintains her commitment to public service as a member of the Board of Directors of the Louisiana SPCA.
