Defective Drug and Drug Recall

Reglan And Schwarz Pharma

On February 26, 2009, the FDA mandated that Schwarz Pharma, producer of the drug Reglan (also known by its generic name Metoclopramide), include “black box” warning labels. The warning stated that people who used Reglan, which is prescribed to treat acid reflux disease, carried an increased risk of developing Tardive Dyskinesia.
