You never want to drive drunk and you may think there are ways for you to avoid it like by sleeping it off inside your car.  But be careful because there could be consequences if you are caught sleeping and are drunk inside your vehicle.

Of course, it always depends circumstances situations at each incident different. But the law does state that even if there is no proof of driving while intoxicated and the keys are not in the ignition, if caught sleeping drunk in your, car you could still get a DWI.  This is because officers only need some evidence that you were operating the vehicle under the influence and keys in the car with you sleeping inside is enough evidence under the Supreme Court. Especially if are caught sleeping in the driver’s seat. It just isn’t a good option or risk to take as it could cause you a lot of legal issues.
